The original short script, written by Port Orchard screenplay developer, Raphael Giovanni Carlo, placed in the top five finalists, as one of the best scripts in The Northwest Film Forum Competition. Given that this will become a feature film for a major distribution label, along with Illuminare Entertainment, it will be of top notch quality, in order to be projected in theatrical release. Raphael Giovanni Carlo - (Carnival of the Damned, Everything Changes) Will play the lead character. Scott Norwood has signed his contract as Director and Co-Producer. John Lamar has been brought in as a Producer. Glen Jensen, with Cascade Sound Stage has been brought in as Location Manager. Illuminare Entertainment had expressed interest in this project, and after viewing it and reading the script, they agreed to distribute SINNER, as a Trilogy, and TV series. Story Line This project has many similarities to other Hollywood blockbuster hits. It will be an Action/Love/Drama story, with twists of suspense and surprise. Our Anti-hero is a well known, but much misunderstood historical figure Cain. Given that he is probably the 3rd person on the earth, according to many religions, he has roamed the world. Studying languages, fighting techniques, and every cultures' twist on religion, trying to find his way to find forgiveness, in the end, he unites all religions together under the notion that we are under one giant rule...Good vs. Evil. There are many films out there today that this story aligns with and conceptualizes from. Including "The Davinci Code", "Stigmata" & "The Passion", now, you may say those films don't have a lot in common, but the main themes of SIN (revenge and dark religious mysteries) will take some of the best of these ideas and, will be revealed in the end as mankind's everyday problems, with a resolution that lends itself nicely to an on going series If you wish to see behind the scenes, and production stills, Click Here Now! |
